We design, install, test, and maintain emergency and exit lighting systems throughout Queensland. From simple exit signs in a small shop to fully networked luminaires in a highrise, our work ensures your building meets AS 2293.1, AS 1851, and all applicable building codes. Using advanced automated testing technology, we keep your egress lighting compliant, your occupants safe, and your maintenance costs predictable — whether you’re in Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Cairns, or anywhere in between.

Why Your Emergency & Exit Lighting Matters

Guaranteed Visibility When the Power Fails

During a blackout or fire, your emergency and exit lights must switch on instantly and remain illuminated for at least 90 minutes. These aren't just lamps — they’re lifesaving navigation aids. A properly designed and maintained system prevents panic, speeds up evacuation, and helps emergency services do their job.

Automated Testing Saves Time & Money

Manual discharge testing of emergency lights is labourintensive and disruptive. We specialise in retrofitting existing systems with automated selftesting capabilities (like Clever Test and similar technologies), which perform the required 6monthly and annual tests automatically, log the results, and alert you immediately if a battery or lamp fails. This slashes testing time and gives you a permanent audit trail.

Avoid Heavy Fines & Legal Risk

Queensland’s Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and the National Construction Code require that exit and emergency lighting be installed to AS 2293.1 and tested every 6 months to AS 1851. Failure to comply can result in significant penalties, invalidation of insurance, and, most critically, danger to occupants. Our scheduled maintenance removes this risk entirely.

Prolonged System Life & Reduced Costs

Routine inspections catch failing batteries, damaged diffusers, and corroded fittings before they cause a full system failure. We replace aged batteries, upgrade older fluorescent exit signs to longlife LED, and ensure every fitting is clean and correctly positioned — extending the life of your installation and avoiding expensive emergency replacements.

Annual Load & Battery Testing

Indepth testing including battery load tests and luminaire cleaning. We identify and replace weak batteries before they fail.

Emergency Repairs & Replacement

Failed exit signs or emergency lights are repaired or replaced quickly, anywhere in Queensland. We carry common spare parts and batteries on board.
